Join us on Wednesday 15 October, for our Annual Conference “60 Years of the Race Relations Act: What’s changed?” and AGM, due to take place at The Africa Centre, 66 Great Suffolk Street, London SE1.
We are in new times, yet many of the conversations and challenges around race and racism remain familiar. This year’s conference will look back on 60 years since the Race Relations Act to see how far (or how little) we have come since. However, we will not only look back, but we will also discuss our future, the challenges, and the opportunities for hope and solidarity.
We will therefore hear from speakers across generations. Those who have grown up during the times of the 60s, 70s and 80s. We will also hear from the younger generation, who will share their stories of their experiences today and their visions for a better future.
Registration and AGM will be from 5:30pm and the Conference “60 years of the Race Relations Act: What’s changed?”, will start at 6:30pm.
Refreshments will be provided. Places are limited, so register now.
