Tamil Oral History Project

Through the generations is a one-year oral history project narrated and conducted by Tamil migrants in London. Supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund, the project will engage Tamil migrants from different age generations and periods of migration - from early arrivals in the 1950s to the later emigres during the Sri Lankan Civil War (c. 1983) - to enter into a dialogue with history across the boundaries of time, memory, place and generation.
