At the start of June, the second cohort of Peer Researchers from the ROTA Community Research Partnership began their training journey.
Our Peer Researchers this year are focusing on a wide range of issues affecting the Black and Global Majority community in the areas of housing, healthcare, and wellbeing.
Research projects include an exploration of the housing issues faced by Sudanese refugee families, the experiences of young Sickle Cell patients in London, and a discussion on the provision of mental health support for new mothers from our communities.
The ROTA Community Research Partnership sees us partner with 10 outstanding Peer Researchers from across London. We provide training and support for our Peer Researchers to carry out research into the challenges faced by their communities, and to work with their communities to find innovative solutions.
Keep an eye out for future updates from our Peer Researchers over the coming weeks and months!
