We are delighted to have been selected as the community research partner for the ‘Nourishing Neighbourhoods’ project, in partnership with Impact on Urban Health, EIT Foods, RSSL, and Reformul8 Scotland.

This exciting project is being carried out to try to reformulate some culturally-specific food and drinks, in order to make them healthier. We have been brought on board to conduct community research in Southwark and Lambeth, ensuring that the project outcomes are grounded in the knowledge and perspectives of our communities.

Healthcare issues, including diabetes and high blood pressure, affect members of our communities disproportionately. We are proud to be working alongside our partner organisations to encourage food manufacturers to consider healthier reformulations of popular products, helping to address these issues.

This project will run over the next 18 months, and we will work with our partner organisations to share any findings, insights, and successes throughout this period.
