At ROTA, partnerships and collaboration are central to our mission. We aim to advance racial equity and community cohesion by working together with individuals and organisations who share our goals. Tackling complex social issues like race-hate violence, anti-migrant sentiment, and Islamophobia requires collective action and a shared commitment to learning, unlearning, and dispelling myths about marginalised communities.
Our approach to training and engagement is rooted in co-creation and responsiveness to community voices. For example, this year, we developed and delivered an intensive three-day programme to equip our first cohort of community peer researchers with skills in methodology, data collection, and analysis. This initiative enabled participants to lead change within their communities and address pressing racial equity challenges.
We recognise that different organisations have unique needs, so we offer tailored training and engagement programmes that range from short-term workshops to longer-term collaborative projects. Whether through capacity-building for local authorities, human rights training for private sector teams, or bespoke peer-led research programmes, our goal is always to foster impactful and sustainable change.
We value long-term partnerships where resources, expertise, and impact are shared. From grassroots organisations to larger institutions, we’re committed to creating collaborative relationships that ensure “Race is Always on the Agenda.”
