Michelle Daley
Michelle is a disability justice activist with over 20 years of experience in social justice. As the Director of the Alliance for Inclusive Education, a national Disabled People’s Organisation, she campaigns to end systems that segregate and marginalise Disabled people from mainstream education.
Michelle is a core member of Million Women Rise, a trustee for the Black Equity Organisation, and was on the committee for the Baobab Foundation, where she led on disability justice.
Michelle has a personal website with a focus on the experience of Black Disabled People in Britain. Her most popular blogs are ‘Thank you letter to British Black Disabled Women activist and campaigners’ and ‘The White Man’s Burden – Global Disability Summit personal reflection’.
Michelle brings experience from working in racial, gender, and disability justice movements, she provides strategic, policy, and consultancy support on the intersections of race, disability, and gender. She is committed to cross-movement organising and advocates for the collective liberation for all.
