Andy Gregg joins Race on the Agenda in January 2013 as Chief Executive, after a period working as a consultant with a number of voluntary organisations.

He was Chief Executive of the Charities Evaluation Service between September 2010 and the summer of 2012, and before that held the same role at LASA.

Andy said: “I am really looking forward to working with ROTA. It is an organisation that I have long admired. There is currently an increasing attack on the whole Equalities agenda. ROTA will play a key role with our partners in resisting these attacks and at the same time we will be developing a number of innovative projects designed to promote race equality and anti-racism”.

Other past roles include being a Director of the Refugee Education and Training Advisory Service (RETAS) at Education Action International and Director of Islington Voluntary Action Council.

Andy is vice chair of Refugee Action, a trustee of London Voluntary Service Council (LVSC), Chair of Migrants Resource Centre and Chair of the Metropolitan Migration Foundation.

Ali Ahmed, Chair of ROTA said: "ROTA’s Board are pleased to confirm Andy Gregg as ROTA’s new CEO. Andy has long supported ROTA’s work and brings extensive knowledge of the voluntary sector at senior level. He has a passion and commitment to achieving race equality and we look forward to working with him”.
