Volunteer Researcher: Eleanor Stokes

Eleanor has worked for ROTA since 2011, as a research consultant and volunteer. Her academic background is in the social sciences, with a particular interest in education policy. She has previously worked as a Research Associate at the University of Nottingham, King’s College London and the London School of Economics and Social Science.

Eleanor is committed to working towards equality and inclusion in the education system through projects which address social and economic disadvantage and discrimination. Eleanor supports a small team of volunteers at ROTA, developing an understanding of research methods in a policy context and providing individual mentoring.

Eleanor says:

To work with and support such committed volunteers is a privilege. Our education policy work would not go forward without their hard work, assistance and ideas.
