Ali Ahmed

Ali currently works for the London borough of Tower Hamlets as Programme Assessment and Monitoring Officer. He was seconded to Tower Hamlets Council as CVS Development Officer to provide support to a newly appointed interim Board setting up Tower Hamlets Council for Voluntary Service, a position he held from January 2010 to August 2010.

Ali was then appointed as Third Sector Strategy officer to support the development and implementation of Tower Hamlets Voluntary and Community Sector Strategy, in August 2010, apposition held until September 2013.

Having successfully imbedded a borough wide VCS strategy he was successfully appointed as  Programme Assessment and Monitoring Officer in October 2013, in Tower Hamlets Third Sector Team, leading on the Social Welfare contracts

He has worked in the voluntary sector for over 15 years. Ali joined the ROTA Board in January 2007 and was previously the Vice-Chair, until May 2010 and is currently Chair of ROTA from May 2010.
