The APPG on Race and Community is delighted to invite you to: Undocumented Caribbean residents - the uncertain status of Commonwealth citizens in UK

70 years since Empire Windrush docked at Tilbury, Caribbean migrants who have lived and worked for over 40 years in the UK are being threatened with detention, deportation and denied access to life-saving services. As Britain looks to the Commonwealth as potential post-Brexit trade partners, we will discuss the Caribbean residents in Britain whose futures are on hold.

YOUNG CARERS MATTER CONFERENCE: 23 APRIL

The IARS International Institute is pleased to announce its Spring, CPD accredited conference titled "Young Carers Matter: The Voices of young people" . The event will be held on 23rd April 2018 (09.00 - 15.00) at Canda Water Library, 20 Surrey Quays Road, SE16 7AR.

This event will present the findings of a project called Young Carers Matter which focused on getting young BAME carers into employment.
