Before the AGM, there will be a special conference: "The Power of Community Research’".

ROTA have been working over the past year to embed community research practices at the heart of everything that we do, and we are excited to host discussions around the ways in which we can around the ways in which we can work more closely with our communities in co-creating research that makes a tangible difference.

We believe that community research should be the norm when it comes to solutions for the Black and Global Majority population, and hope to further empower members of our community to generate new knowledge to address the problems that we face. We look forward to welcoming a range of speakers on this topic, and hope for a lively, meaningful discussion with our members.
