We are deeply saddened by the loss of our former Board Member and Chairperson, Kamila Zahno. She joined the ROTA board in February 2005 – April 2010.
Kamila was the founder member of her own company Zahno Rao Associates. She began her career in local government and worked with many other organisations. She had many years of economic development experience both as a consultant and as a practitioner in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
Kamila was particularly interested in undertaking research and consultancy which contributed to social inclusion, and had conducted many assignments which aimed to increase the participation of socially excluded people in education, training and employment. Her clients included national government departments and agencies, regeneration partnerships, local authorities and the voluntary sector.
