Are solitary homeless people better off by working? Despite a lot of conjecture, there still doesn't seem to be a clear, adequate, robust answer to this question. There is a need to identify under which circumstances work is a step forward, and under which it either fails to tackle or indeed may add to individuals’ vulnerability.
