Nick Sharman
Nick Sharman is Managing Director, Local Government at Amey plc where he oversees a £350m p.a. portfolio of partnership based service and PFI delivery contracts across the UK. This involves strategic partnership working with client authorities delivering a wide range of environmental and property related services. An economics, planning and business graduate he has had a variety of board level positions in both private and public sectors, ranging from UK director of Brink's the American owned security transport company to deputy chief executive of the London Borough of Islington. At Islington he led the development of public private partnerships to deliver mainstream services and large scale regeneration schemes. Most recently he was director of operations at the London Development Agency, a post which included a year’s secondment to the DTI as a director of regions.
