Ibidun Fakoya
Ibidun Fakoya is currently a Research Associate at University College London (UCL) where she has been working in the Migration Ethnicity and Sexual Health Programme since 2003. Her work focuses on the needs of African people living with HIV in the UK and health inequalities facing other minority ethnic communities.
Prior to joining UCL, Ibidun worked in the marketing department at Sage Publications and has extensive marketing and communications experience.
Recently Ibidun became involved with environmental campaigning, particularly in the trade justice as it effects those in developing countries. In October 2007 joined a small project team developing and delivering workshops to Black and Asian minority ethnic communities in Southwark. In September 2008 the project, 'Homes Going Green in SE15', won an Earthmovers Award for 'Communicating Powerfully'.
