Gifford Sutherland
Gifford Sutherland is Founder and Director of the social enterprise Foundation 4 Life working with disaffected young people experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties. Much of his work has involved facilitating the rehabilitation and resettlement of ex-offenders by providing them with training, support and employment opportunities. He has over five years' experience working within the third sector dealing with issues affecting young people.
He currently sits on a number of boards and advisory groups including the Five Borough Alliance, the GLA Guns, Gangs and Weapons Forum (GGW), Southwark Gangs Committee and the Croydon Gangs Advisory Panel.
Prior to establishing Foundation 4 Life, Gifford was a business development director and publisher within media and telecommunications working for brands such as Associated Newspapers (Evening Standard, Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday), Auto Trader Interactive, Fish4 and Opera Telecom.
