Senior Policy Officer: Ewan Kennedy
Ewan has been a Policy Officer with ROTA since August 2009. Before this role he had spent 18 months working on policy for the Social Enterprise Coalition before returning to his interest in discrimination and race equality.
Starting his career in Norwich where he completed his BA in Politics and Philosophy at the University of East Anglia he spent 3 years with Norfolk Constabulary progressing equality and diversity and a further 2 years with the local Race Equality Council.
He has researched subjects as diverse as the BAME third sector, ethnic monitoring in the criminal justice system and the demographics of new migrant communities. He completed an MA in Cultural Politics in 2005 with a dissertation on the dynamics of far right activity as social and political movements.
