Coalition Activities

We are targeting specific initiatives to have maximum impact in:

  • engaging and informing BAME communities about the Bill
  • preparing and enabling BAME communities to use the Bill once it is passed
  • informing the policy and legislative process leading to the passing of the Bill, (through face to face meetings with policy makers, lobbying MPs and peers)
  • increasing the awareness and engagement levels of BAME communities (through training, publications and events)
  • collecting evidence and making it available to government and other stakeholders on the specific needs and circumstances of BAME communities, ensuring that they are heard and represented.
