There are several specific aims which underpin the overall aim of “Active Lives, Healthy Minds”. These include:

  • Increasing the levels of independence of service-users by offering appropriate skill provision to reduce levels of social isolation.
  • Enabling service-users to improve their mental health by being engaged in defining their road to better mental health.
  • To increase the skills of service-users so they can participate in shaping the delivery of mental health services.
  • To increase the confidence of BAME people with poor mental health to access mental health services.
